2XTRI - Double Triathlon

Hong Kong's newest and most exciting triathlon is here.  It's going to be sizzling, with a unique format that will keep you hot on your feet.

Wave 1 - 0640 - Male National Squad Trial Race
Wave 2 - 0641 - Female National Squad Trial Race
Wave 3 - 0700 - 2XTri Elite Male and Elite Female
Wave 4 - 0715 - 2XTri Male 16-19, 20-24. 25-29, 30-34
Wave 5 - 0730 - 2XTri Male 35-39
Wave 6 - 0840 - 2XTri Male 40-44, Male 45-49
Wave 7 - 0855 - 2XTri Male 50-54, 55-59, 60+, all Females
Wave 8 - 0910 - Beginner Tri all Males, all Females, all Teams

Registration will be open from 5.45am - 8.30am.

Distance:
2XTRI: Swim 300m, Bike 12km, Run 3km x 2
Beginner Tri: Swim 300m, Bike 12km, Run 3km

For the 2XTRI there's no rest, it's straight back into the water for the second tri.  You'll stay cool but pumped, chasing your competitors and perhaps prize money.  That's right, for the first time we are offering prize money to the first three men and women across the line!!  So many reasons to be part of this great new event...

Entry Fee:
HKD360 (includes swim cap, souvenir t-shirt, post race food and drink, and superb race organisation!)

Times:
Registration: 5.45am
Race start: wave starts from 7.00am (times to be confirmed race week)

 

Prize Money
Elite Male & Female overall winners
1st place - $3000
2nd place - $2000
3rd place - $1000

Competitors must enter the Elite category to be eligible for prize money.  Elite category participants cannot receive age-group awards.  Any athlete can race in the Elite category if they feel their ability is good enough to make them competitive in that category.

Prizes
Medals and prizes courtesy of our sponsors will be awarded to the first three placegetters in each category in a ceremony immediately after the conclusion of the race.

Registration
Event packs including timing chips, swim caps, number bibs etc will be distributed at the race venue on race morning.

Transport
If you requested transport on your application, please see the times below:

Bicycles
All forms of bicycles will be accepted including mountain bikes and folding bikes. 

We will not be providing a bike rental service.  However to arrange this yourself you may contact Shun Lee Bicycles at Ph 2695 7195 (ask for Edmund Tso)
